Homicide Investigation in Orleans, charge laid

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Homicide Unit has charged 18-year-old Anthony JAMIESON with First Degree Murder in the shooting death of 19-year-old Brendan Mukoma that occurred last night in the 400 block of Oaklawn Crescent.
He is scheduled to appear in court today.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit is looking to identify a suspect involved in a personal robbery on June 21 in the 1800 block of Robertson Road.
At approximately 2:30 pm, a lone suspect met with the victim to purchase a cell phone. The suspect pulled out what was described as a taser by the victim. The suspect stole the phone and fled the area in a vehicle nearby.

Carleton Place man charged with Child Pornography Offences

(Ottawa) — In May 2023, the Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) began an investigation into a man uploading child pornography online. The Unit executed a warrant yesterday and arrested him.
Eric CLOUTIER, 48 years old, of Carleton Place was charged with the following offences:
- Unlawfully Possess Child Pornography
- Breach an order from a sexual offence conviction
