Suspect to identify in Robertson Road retail Robbery

(Ottawa) — The Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man involved in a robbery in the 2100 block of Robertson Road on May 18th, 2020.
At approximately 9:01pm, a masked man entered a store and asked the clerk for the money in the cash register. The man threatened to go behind the counter. The man left with an undetermined amount of money removing his mask when he left the store. No one was injured.

An Ottawa family found themselves at their wits’ end recently when their 17-year-old son who suffers from several disorders was upset and threatening self-harm.
They hesitated to call police because it felt disloyal to their son and that they were failing as parents. With nowhere else to turn, the mother called 911.

Shooting investigation on Seyton Drive - police seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) – Frontline officers responded to a possible shooting in the area of Seyton Drive and Westcliffe Road on Sunday, May 17th.
At approximately 8:12pm, a witness heard several gunshots and then saw a vehicle drive away. Responding officers located shell casings in the area. No one with injuries has been located.
