Fatal collision on Carp Road: police seeking witnesses

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Sunday, November 26, 2023 4 p.m.
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Investigation Unit is investigating a collision that occurred just after 9 a.m. this morning in the 3100 block of Carp Road.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision.
Tragically, a woman in her 50s is deceased as a result of her injuries.
We want to thank the bystanders who rendered CPR and assistance before emergency crews arrived on the scene.

Charges laid in Fatal Collision on Charlotte Street

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Unit has charged the driver responsible for the fatal collision on Charlotte Street that occurred on October 2.
Majid FATHALIPOORSALOEI, 48-years-old, of Ottawa has been charged with:
- Dangerous operation causing death
- Dangerous operation causing bodily harm

Drugs seized in Durocher St warrant execution

(Ottawa)— Earlier this month, the Ottawa Police Service Street Crime Unit and Vanier Neighborhood Resource Team (NRT) began an investigation into a residence in the 200 block of Durocher Street following community concerns about drug trafficking.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit continues to investigate a shooting incident this morning that left one person dead, and another with life-threatening injuries.
At approximately 6:10 am, police and first responders rushed to Draffin Court in response to calls for service about shots fired.
