(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Service Central District Investigation Unit is looking for public assistance in identifying three suspects that damaged statues in the 700 block of Somerset Street W on October 8th.
Between the hours of 10:00 and 11:00 pm, male suspects approached two statues outside of a commercial business and proceeded to kick them, which caused both statues to break. The suspects then left the area on foot.

(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police would like to remind residents to remain vigilant, stay safe, and safeguard their vehicles to avoid being a victim of vehicle theft.
Over 1200 thefts of various vehicles have been reported to police this year, in several different neighbourhoods across Ottawa (see attached maps). This month, there have been 85 vehicle theft reports filed.

Serious collision on Leitrim Rd: police seeking witnesses
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Investigation Unit is seeking witnesses to a collision on November 17.
At approximately 2:25 pm, officers were called to Leitrim Road, west of Bowesville Road, in response to a collision involving a motor vehicle and a commercial truck.
The 64-year-old-driver and 20-year-old passenger of the motor vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries and remain in critical condition.

Charges laid in local hospital suspicious incident

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service East Criminal Investigations Unit has charged a woman following a suspicious incident last week.
At approximately 11:15 pm on November 9, officers attended a hospital in the 500 block of Smyth Road in relation to a suspicious incident. Gasoline had been poured inside the hospital with messages left nearby. The messages were related to the ongoing conflict in Israel and Gaza.
