(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Investigations Unit is seeking witnesses to a fatal collision that occurred last night.

At approximately 8:40 pm, officers were called to Walkley Road between Heatherington and Heron Roads in response to a collision involving a motor vehicle and pedestrian.

A 65-year-old male succumbed to critical injuries suffered in the collision.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Hate and Bias Crime Unit has charged an individual in relation to harassment and a threatening phone call to a religious leader.

At approximately 3:30 pm on November 3rd, officers commenced an investigation when a complaint was received. The suspect was identified and arrested on November 4th.

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Investigations Unit is seeking witnesses to a fatal collision that occurred last night.

(Ottawa) –Ottawa Police Service and Safer Roads Ottawa have partnered to raise awareness and encourage Ottawa cyclists to light themselves up while cycling in the early evening and night.

At the upcoming Lights on Bikes event, organizers and community partners will provide free bike lights and reflective bands as well as tips for improving cyclist visibility and general road safety.
