Ottawa man charged following an aggravated assault on an OC Transpo bus

(Ottawa) – On July 25th, Frontline Patrol officers responded to a call for service for an assault on Queen Street at approximately 5:50pm where a woman sustained non-life threatening injuries from a pellet (BB) gun aboard an OC Transpo bus. She was transported to a local hospital.
The suspect fled the scene and he was located soon after and arrested in the vicinity.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service East Criminal Investigation Unit has charged a 38-year-old man with numerous offenses following an attempted homicide on June 13th, 2024.
At approximately 2:30 a.m., members of the Ottawa Paramedic Service located a man lying on the ground in the 700 block of Montreal Road. The man had sustained serious injuries from being stabbed.

(Ottawa) – OC Transpo’s Special Constable Unit charged two men in relation to hate-motivated incidents that occurred on July 1, 2024.
At approximately 7:30 pm, two suspects made racial slurs and threats towards a family while on the transit system.
