(Ottawa)— In June, the Ottawa Police Service Drug Unit began an investigation into individuals involved in the trafficking of drugs throughout the City of Ottawa.

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service High Risk Offender Management Unit has charged a man for breaching conditions of his Long Term Supervision Order.
The investigation commenced in July 2023 after a member of the public made a report to police alleging the breaches that occurred between April and July 2023.

Fatal Collision on Farmers Way, police seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Unit Investigators are seeking witnesses to a fatal collision that occurred on Sunday, August 13, 2023.
At approximately 11:18 pm, officers were called to a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Farmers Way, south of Thunder Road.
The pedestrian, a 21-year-old man, succumbed to his injuries.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Section has charged a woman following an investigation into sexual assaults.

Arrests made in Booth Street Homicide

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit has arrested two youths in connection with the July 19th Booth Street fire, which resulted in the death of 17-year-old Hussein Hamam.
The two youths, who cannot be named as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act, are each charged with the following:
- Manslaughter
- Arson causing bodily harm
- Possession of incendiary material
They are scheduled to appear in court today.
